[1] Note, Western Cape lifters who did not qualify to take part at WC Provincial Champs (i.e. new lifters who had not competed in a club competition) or lifters who did not achieve a total at WC Provincial Champs may take part in the Provincial Champs of another province (North West, Gauteng, KZN, Eastern Cape) to qualify for SA National Championships
